The Reform UK leader Claims Educators of ‘Indoctrinating Children’ on Racial Topics

The political figure stated that teachers would go on strike shortly after a success at the polls for his party, charging that they are “harming young minds” by telling children that black pupils are victims and Caucasian students are perpetrators.

During an event for a private US Christian college, the politician expressed his perspective on British schools, claiming that the “radical left-wing” had “now in control of our education system”.

“I expect a teachers’ strike very quickly after winning the next general election,” Farage commented during a Q&A session.

“They are corrupting young minds. They are telling them to feel guilt about their nation. They inform an eight-year-old black child that he is oppressed and little Oliver, who is white, who is eight that he is a perpetrator. They are dividing us, not uniting us. They are feeding this harmful mindset.”

In response to these assertions, Daniel Kebede dismissed the notion that the schools were under Marxist influence as “nonsense”. Kebede noted that industrial action must relate to educators’ working conditions, and doubted whether Reform would attack these immediately upon entering government.

“The politician has crafted his public life on coded rhetoric and now, similar to other figures, he is targeting educators and their unions for a fight,” the union leader said.

“This is highly reckless. Neither I nor our union – push critical race theory as he claims … Should he become prime minister he would undermine state services, particularly schooling … and the outcome would be catastrophic for students and learning.”

Reform, which is leading the polls by a significant margin, has provided limited specifics on a proposed education policy and seems not to have designated an education lead.

Nonetheless, his comments indicated the party would overhaul the educational framework. He said: “We face an enormous task with education – truly monumental. Moreover, it won’t happen quickly; it will take us years, years to turn this around.”

Farage expressed that younger generations are receptive to critical thinking, but older youth were “completely lost”.

Honoring a conservative activist, Farage said: “All I want education to do to teach critical thinking – to educate individuals that multiple perspectives exist and they should decide for themselves as opposed to current practices where one is virtuous and one is evil. It’s a massive job in both Britain and America.”

The party has conflicted with the UK’s largest teaching union, after the union leader labeled them “far right and racist” and dismissed Farage as “a poundshop Donald Trump”.

The politician has charged the union head with being “a self-declared Marxist” … someone who is absolutely determined that our children should be poisoned through education, their minds should be poisoned about everything to do with this country” and maintained that the organization seeks to brainwash youth opposed to his party.

Roughly a million individuals are employed in education in the UK, with educators comprising half and the others teaching assistants and support staff. The major education union has hundreds of thousands of members.

National strikes over educators’ salaries and work environment in recent years led to significant interruptions in educational institutions and extensive missed instruction for children.

At the US event, the Reform leader also pledged to help spread the digital courses of the institution in the UK. He stated organizations like it were “key to resistance”, adding that: “I mean this. I will help attract vast numbers of youth to your online courses. I pledge this tonight and I will follow through.”

The college, a small private Christian college, offers free courses. According to its online description: “A scientific, literary, theological, political, and moral education is vital for well-being and to maintain the benefits of freedom. It offers these beautiful courses for free to every interested learner.”
