The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The renowned video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and all those touched by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
