Devoted supporters of the actress are urging that a individual who breached a fence and grabbed the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A circulating footage shows the individual from Australia shoving aside camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the event by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being detained", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to appear on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed includes clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Past Trauma

Several supporters blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented a further message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others requested online networks to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Many of Singapore supporters had queued up to see the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a dual version of the popular theatrical musical Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely friendship between two very different witches.

The musical itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned a dozen Academy Award nods, earning a pair for best costume and artistic direction.
